Biography: Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, Madchen Amick was encouraged by her parents to follow her own creative instincts where she learned the skill of playing the piano, bass, violin and guitar as well as being able to do tap, ballet, jazz and modern dancing. In 1987 at the age of 16, she traveled to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting Trivia Measurements: 32-23 1/2-33, on her 1988 Elite card. (Source: Celebrity Sleuth magazine) Worked as a fashion model for Elite Agency. Was one of hundreds of girls who were specifically auditioned for a role as Wesley Crusher's girlfriend in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Dauphin." She lost the competition to Jaime Hubbard but appeared on the episode as her friend and bodyguard. Hubbard's career bombed while Amick's took off after the episode aired.
