Biography:

Raven-Symone was born in Atlanta, Georgia but at a young age moved to New York. While there Raven signed with the Ford Modeling Agency. They sent her out on a audition for a movie called Ghost Dad starring Bill Cosby. She was too young for the role (being only 3 years old) in but Bill Cosby could see she had talent. Thay asked Raven to come back to read lines and she did well so and got herself a starring role on The Cosby Show. After starring as Olivia in the last 3 successful years of The Cosby Show's run she decided to try something new like singing. In 1993 she became the youngest person ever to sign with MMC Records. She also went back to acting with a starring role in Hangin with Mister Cooper and a small role in the TV Movie Queen. After another small role in a the feature film The Little Rascals and the role of Goldilocks in the TV show Happily Ever After, Hangin with Mister Cooper ended.

Raven's singing career was doing well and she landed a role in Dr. Dolittle and a TV movie called Zenon. She did Doctor Dolittle 2 but was not able to do Zenon 2. But Disney, who made Zenon, wanted her back to do a new Disney TV show called Absolutely Psychic, where she would be a supporting character. However, she impressed them so much that they changed the story to be about hedr and the show was changed to That's So Raven. After That's So Raven was a hit she did hit the TV movie The Cheetah Girls and made a new CD. A Thats So Raven may be in the works.
