Biography:

Sara Marsh makes her feature debut in Sugar & Spice as Lucy, the brainy Harvard hopeful who finds herself robbing a bank to help out a fellow cheerleader. A 1998 graduate of Breck School and currently an honors student majoring in History at the University of Minnesota, Marsh has been performing in several different mediums throughout her life. A pianist since age five, Marsh was six years old when she took the stage at the University of Minnesota's Northrop Auditorium in the first of many piano performances for the Minnesota Music Teachers Association. To accompany her musical skills, Marsh also began dancing with both Ballet Arts and the Minnesota Dance Theatre, and performed with the Pacific Northwest Ballet in The Nutcracker in 1988 and 1989.
Marsh began acting at the age of ten and while at Breck, she played such roles as Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker and Viola in Twelfth Night, in addition to directing her own full-scale production of Steel Magnolias. Once in college, Marsh acted in numerous theatrical productions in the Minneapolis - St. Paul area including Inoperative Words, Independence, Night of the Iguana and The Crucible. Most recently, Marsh appeared this past October in a University of Minnesota main-stage production of All in the Timing, in which she held roles in the one-acts Sure Thing and "Philip Glass.
