Biography: Shauna Sand was born in San Diego, California. From the age of five she studied ballet, jazz, and theater. At eleven she was enrolled in The School of Creative and Performing Arts and by thirteen she had accepted a dance scholarship with Ballet West in Aspen, Colorado. Shauna began modeling at the age of nine when she was approached by a local photographer; her modeling career exploded when she signed with the Elite/Petite agency in New York at the age of fifteen. She then went to Paris and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Business Administration and perfected her now fluent French. The multi-talented Shauna has had a remarkable career which has taken her to Europe, Asia, South America, and throughout The United States for a variety of stage, film, television and modeling assignments. A recurring role on the hit syndicated television show “Renegade” introduced Shauna to an international television audience. Her popularity climbed with her stunning appearances on the covers of many International Magazines, calendar appearances, and her own poster, which proved that she could conquer yet another media market. She parlayed this success by several television and stage hosting appearances which included one of Playboy TV’s top rated shows: “Playboy Jazz Festival” and she was a celebrity co-host on “The Sally Jesse Raphael Show”. Her film career has led her to star in “The Chosen One” with Carmen Electra and is featured in six motion pictures titled “2001 Maniacs”, “The Deviants”, Circuit II”, "Down To Earth", “Good Cop Bad Cop” and "Back To Even”. Shauna is also appearing in the television series “Air America”, airing worldwide and the new Warner Brothers series “Dark Realm”, as well as the sitcom “Half and Half” and she will be appearing in “Charmed” on February 9th, 2003. Shauna’s continued success has led her to be featured in numerous international endorsement deals and worldwide publications. Charity work is also a priority for Ms. Sand and she donates her time to “Angel Flight”, a non-profit organization which gives free air travel to terminally ill patients who can’t afford to fly or are too ill to travel by conventional means. She is also on the board of directors for “The Bony Pony Ranch” charity which helps underprivileged children as well as orphaned animals.
