Biography:

Tempestt Bledsoe (born August 1, 1973) is an American actress who is best known for her role as Vanessa Huxtable in The Cosby Show.

Since then, she has had a short-lived daytime talk show, The Tempestt Bledsoe Show, and has been featured in the role of a single mother on the ABC show The Practice and the Lifetime show Strong Medicine.

Bledsoe has also been featured recently on television interviews, where she spoke of her experiences as a child star together with her co-stars Bill Cosby, Phylicia Rashad, Lisa Bonet, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Keshia Knight Pulliam, and Sabrina Le Beauf.

Bledsoe will be appearing in the third season of Celebrity Fit Club to begin airing in January 2006.

Bledsoe is mentioned in Stephen Levitt's Freakonomics as an example of her first name being mistaken for "Temptress".
